Η Λευκάδα είναι ένα όμορφο νησί του Ιονίου πελάγους, στην δυτική πλευρά της Ελλάδας, νότια από την Κέρκυρα και βόρεια από την Κεφαλονιά. Το νησί ενώνεται με την ηπειρωτική Ελλάδα με μια πλωτή γέφυρα. Καθώς το Ομιλώ οργανώνει κάθε χρόνο μαθήματα μίας και δύο εβδομάδων στην Λευκάδα, θα θέλαμε να σς παρουσιάσουμε μερικά στοιχεία για το νησί, καθώς και την πλούσια μυθολογική του παράδοση.
The Rio-Antirrio Bridge is one of te world’s longest multi-span cable-stayed bridge. It crosses the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese to Antirrio on mainland Greece. For students taking a course in Lefkada and travelling from Athens, they will need to cross this bridge.
